What a wonderful, relaxing family holiday! We were warmly welcomed by Mary and Steve to our gorgeous, well appointed gite tucked away in the hills. The view was breathtaking. We spent the week happily exploring the local area, with helpful advice from Steve. We felt really spoilt coming back to our fabulous pool and spent many happy hours playing games in the pool, boules and relaxing on our private terrace. Our son made full use of facilities including the well maintained bikes and table tennis. On the one evening it rained, Steve transformed the games area into an indoor terrace for us! The winery in nearby Broquies was a real find, as was the butcher and the baker. Slightly further afield, we tasted and bought cheese made on the farm (so charming when the sheep came through the garden!), ate extremely well in some fabulous, fortified medieval villages, explored ancient ruins and saw incredible birds of prey and wildlife. Barbecues outside in Mary's lovely garden were a highlight every day and which our dog (who was very warmly welcomed) enjoyed as much as us. Mary and Steve could not have been more helpful all the time that we were there. - The Balders - UK, UK, August 2014

La Caze Gites Welcomes You

If you want peace and relaxation in stunning, unspoilt, French countryside but with the option to be active and adventurous if you feel inclined, then why not come and stay at La Caze Gîtes, and enjoy a self catering holiday in the Tarn Valley, Aveyron.

For your comfort and enjoyment we have two gites which have been newly converted from a traditional Aveyron barn into spaceous and fully equipped holiday homes. The barn itself is set apart from our house by an internal courtyard, with guests enjoying use of the swimming pool and large garden, complete with stunning view. In addition to the garden, each gite has its own private terrace.

Both gîtes provide light, airy, and spacious, self-catering accommodation. Rooms are decorated in neutral tones throughout with original, exposed beams incorporated into the décor. Whilst we have maintained an authentic feel to both gites, you will be pleased to find the kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped and modern. La Cardabelle sleeps 6 people, (with room for 2 additional guests on a sofa bed in the lounge), and La Violette sleeps 4. Both of the gîtes have a baby cot upon request, and all linen, towels (including beach towels) are provided.

La Caze is a small hamlet just 2 minutes away from the village of Broquiès, set in the idyllic Tarn Valley. In the village you will find all the shops you will need for everyday provisions such as, Butcher, Baker, General Store, Post Office, Hair Dresser, Café/Restaurant, Hardware Store, and local Wine Cave. There are also fun activities on offer in Broquies such as tennis courts and a pétanque piste. In addition to Broquies, we're also located just 25 minutes away from the town of St Affrique, which contains an even more diverse range of shops. In addition to our garden facilities, if you feel a bit more energetic then we have 6 bikes available for use free of charge.

We want you to have a great self catering holiday and so will be available should you require assistance or information but at a discreet distance! Thank you for your interest in La Caze Gites and we hope to see you very soon!
